im starting to feel frustrated. We got our ducks and chickens as baby chicks back in the beginning of May and no one is laying yet. The ducks are khaki campbells and we have 4 girls and 4 boys. I check the run and coop every day because I know that the ducks will bury their eggs. But nothing. The other thing is they are very sexual active right now, the drakes are constantly on top of the hens especially in the water. Could they possibly be waiting until next spring to start laying? I'm completely new to this so all the advice would help! Thanks so much.

Not sure about ducks laying,
might want to start a thread in the Duck forum for that question.
4 males to 4 females could be part of the problem...
...or another problem all together,
especially if those randy drakes have access to the chickens.

Chickens average onset of lay is 18-28 weeks for most breeds,
so you're just getting into to that range.
