I have 3 shipments of eggs out there. 2 shipped out yesterday, 1 shipped out today. every time i try to track the packages....it never has updates! i feel like my eggs are just sittin' around somewhere!

I have the same problem waiting for the eggs to arrive to me when I order. The PO can't even figure out where they are, believe me I have tried giving them my tracking number over the phone. They use the same website that they give us to use.

I had several batches come by priority mail in the last week.

The Priority Mail service time means nothing this time of year. The ones from far away get here faster than the ones that are coming from 1 state away.

The post office has no clue. They are too busy to track.

The only thing the tracking number on priority mail did for me was tell me they shipped, which the seller told me; and that they were delivered, so I knew to go check my post office box!

BAH!

i actually use to be a rural carrier and i can tell you that it's not the carrier. the carrier scans the barcode, it's the computer system that stinks. but i have the same issues, i get an update when i ship it and then when it's delivered. they need a new computer system.

well, that makes me feel better, i guess they WOULD be too busy to update the info. BUT.....they better not be too busy to handle my babies (or soon to be babies) gently. they better not toss the boxes around! poor lil' eggs!

Same experience here as well. Took 3 days to deliver mine eggs from arizona to michigan via prioity. The tracking number also stated nothing until the eggs were in my driveway! Go figure ...its the mail.

The tracking on packages irritates me as well! One would think it would auto-update whenever the package gets scanned, but nooo, it seems to be a day or more behind what's actually going on. It's so annoying tracking an important package only to get no updates for, say, two days! Just telling you the same useless info over and over again. ("Origin post preparing shipment" is the most annoying one in my opinion and often stays there for days, even up until hours before I receive a package.) And I'm just talking about during normal volume times, not even during the holidays...

I had the same thing here on some eggs I received last week. They showed that they had been picked up and the site didn't update until they were just about to be delivered. I can watch packages go from one side of the country to the other with UPS and FedEx but not USPS. Gotta wonder why they even put tracking numbers on the boxes.

I do have to say that the eggs only took three days to get to me. I guess that is not too bad for this time of year.
