Fryburg Fair Maine 2012

I don't know if this is the right spot or not.
I wanted to go to see if I could buy some chickens at Fryburg this year. I always check the barn out but have not noticed in the past if the chickens were ever for sale. I know they have just about every other animal for sale there but was wondering about the chickens. Does anyone go there from here? Looking for good Cochins, Welsummers and Marans.

I went there last year and if I remember correctly, there were chicks of various breeds for sale and several adult birds that were gorgeous! I can't garauntee any particular breeds though. I saw some great cochins however! Hope that's helpful!

most of the fair shows do have birds for sale but they may not nessarsarily be birds that were shown. there is also a Maine show coming up with tail gate sales at the windsor fairgrounds oct 7th (a sunday).

also if planning to buy birds, bring a carrier or box, sometimes they are hard to come by.
