Fugly Farm

Kevin is home, surgery went fine. He only weighs 4.8 lbs. HopTart is 6.8 lbs. She's quite a bit bigger than him.

Hope you have a great hatch...I need some NN chick pix, it's been a while :fl
Yes it has for baby NNs hasn't it? My son stopped by and we went to see the chicks and he was like Mom you don't have any chickens!
@igorsMistress What day are those NN egg's on, and when should they be hatching?

I'm waiting for my DH to call and tell me what time that I need to go pick him up. It's going to take me an hour to get there unless there is traffic or something.
Today is day 7 so should hatch on the 16th. I hope you don't hit traffic going to get hubs. Do you have to go out on the 347?

Shade garden today. I pulled a few dead things, moved a bird of paradise to a new empty spot, moved an elephant ear to where that bird of paradise was and then moved the biggest hibiscus into the shade garden. The seeds in the red bowl are fairy duster seeds; they had very hot water poured over and were left to soak overnight. I'm going to plant them just before sunset tonight. Most will go in the pots in the shade garden until ready to transplant, but I'm going to try direct sowing in the spot where I had the smaller hibiscus, which was out by the compost pile.
