Thanks NFC. The artichoke is in there too and I'm planning a fall garden. Lots of work to do now that it's cooling off.

Do you grow basil? I used to grow tons of it, it's my favorite herb.

I will this Spring, one of my favorites too. I have a little greenhouse we'll be setting up to get starts going this Winter.

This is my favorite time of year, I love being outside in the wee hours of the morning before the sun comes up.

Modified the nest box but I think we're done. One more panel added to the front corner and some wood across the slats cut to hold the lattice dividers. This allows a good amount of air flow all the way around the girls when they're in there. Much better than the boxes and we recycled everything to make it except hardware.

Mealworms. The beetles flock to greens like crazy but the worms prefer apples. I've seen tiny worms in both boxes too.

Judging from that pretty brown egg in the box, I'd say the girls approved!
