You ended up with some nice Dorking's, for being 1/4 Red Ranger they sure take more after their Dorkings Silver Grey pattern. The Red Ranger is going to give them faster growth with a little more size.

I'm very happy with both of them. I like the Silver Dorking color quite a bit.

We were going to eat the cockerel but if he and PB get along ok I might keep him and breed him instead. He's a sweet boy but not super friendly with me which I like.

He's roughly 2 weeks younger than the Salmon Faverolles but is catching up quickly in size.

Doggy update...Abby definitely scratched herself good on something outside. I cleaned the wound with a little peroxide and put some Polysporin on it.

Midge has gained 1.4 lbs back since last week. I weighed her on Tuesday and this morning and she seems to be holding that gain but not putting on any more weight than that even with an extra meal at lunch. At least the loss has stopped for now.

3 doggies can keep a person busy, right? That sounds like good news about Midge's gain.

You ain't kiddin lady! Frank decided it was snuggle time and sat in my lap and it took me 10 minutes to get out from under him.

Thank you, yes Midge is holding on and I'm cautiously optimistic. You know how Stephen King calls us Constant Readers? She is my constant companion. No matter where, no matter what. Except out in the rain.

Every Constant Reader should have a Constant Companion (Opie is mine) :love
