It was explained to us a long time ago that you needed to be wary of people in love. It is much better to be stupid over someone.

So Crazy Lady and I are stupid for each other. People fall out of love all the time. You never hear about anyone getting smart. And to prove how stupid we were, we got hitched. :D

May you find happiness and joy where ever you are!

I'm really stupid then :lau

First pic is the inside wall of the coop, second pic is the roof, both from this morning. We had horizontal rain yesterday afternoon though.

Last 2 pics are the sky this morning when I let the chickens out. 60% chance of rain today, then drying out until next week when we have another chance for showers. I think coop maintenance is on the agenda this weekend, I'm going to have to paint and whitewash and we have to check that roof for possible cracks in the panels on top.

Pretty sunrise pictures IM. How often do you have to whitewash?

I've read once a year is fine and will likely wait until Spring to whitewash after thinking it over. Probably not a great idea to get the inside of the coop very wet right now with the cool temps. Definitely doing a coat of paint this weekend though.

@igorsMistress They sure do grow fast. I spotted white with the black feather's on the back like the hen you call the cowgirl over here.

That Nn cockerel with the dark head was blue chipmunk...from Roger and the Cowgirl. I love his coloring! There's one with CCL tail shape in that trio too which I like.

I'm waiting for this big reddish brown NN girl to get going on her egg's good. She's bigger than my white NN girls are. Egg laying has still been slow, but I will have several pullet's that will be laying by spring.
