Fugly Farm

It look's like all of the farmer's around here have harvested the corn and now are growing cotton. We did take out for dinner last night so had to go into town to get it.

Do farmer's in your area grow a lot of cotton? I just always thought that was a south eastern kind of crop.

They grow cotton here every year, They also grow corn, cantaloupe, and soy bean's depending on what time of the year that it is. Some of it is grown on the Reservation land.

That's interesting. Must take a lot of irrigation to grow crops down your way.

Yes, but there was talk a while back about the farmer's were going to have to drill deeper for the water. We were also warned about drinking the water from the sink's here, as it has too high of a nitrate level in it from all of that fertilisers that the farmer use that soak's back down into the ground.

We got the boy bunny. His name is Kevin, doesn't seem at all like a Kingsford and honestly, I didn't like that name at all.
He's very shy but lets us pet him. HopTart was sniffing and rubbing all over him and the cage he was in, rubbing her chin all over everything.

Thanks! He's quite a bit smaller than HopTart which surprises me. Right now she's out of her pen and he's in her house...we shall see how things go when she gets back :fl
