there are 5 babies in the incubator now.I had to help two, one is still partially in shell in a dish to absorb a bit of blood and yolk. One died in shell after pip. If the others don’t pip by this afternoon I’m going to open the eggs.

4 out of 5. I suppose it’s my turn, I’ve never had fully feathered from any NN eggs I’ve hatched. Ever.

Maybe the person that you got them from have some fully feathered necked hen's in there and they all layed the same colored egg?

The 2 that are 1/2 sisters from the same hatch as Lacy was are laying nice sized egg's now, but I'm not hatching them. I don't want to do another hatch until next year.

I went out on my break this morning to feed the babies. I’d left the door to the mini coop open for the new girls too and they were out and about at break. In the small yard with Cuckoo and the chicks behind their coop.

5 chicks. One blue that’s an Nn, two each black and maybe buff that are fully feathered. I’m still working on getting the dried membrane off the one black one. They’re outside though and already pecking at food.

I was just out there comparing the size of those 2 NN/RR-Dorking mix boy's. I was going to keep the one with the 5 toes that I had named Bigfoot, but the other one that has the 4 toes is bigger than him and almost as big as Roger is already.
