Fugly Farm

Busy weekend and busy week. Eggs are still alive but I’m worried about the air cell size in the bigger of the two. Might post a pic Thursday in the duck forum for opinions. Decided to tell the seller I’ve changed my mind about the additional hatching eggs. It’s getting close to the time of year when we get freezing temps and I can’t brood babies inside, so I ordered 3 ducklings that should arrive at the beginning of December. Plus I’d like them all close in age and a greater number to snuggle up in the cold.

I added more dirt to the garden but need a couple more bags to finish it off and cooler temps to plant greens. The rest of the garden is looking good, no sprouts from carrots, lettuce or garlic yet. Speaking of which, I need to get out there and water those before work!

Thank you for the update, I was just wondering about you🤗 🤗

Sorry I was MIA for a few days. I found out we had a small leak under the kitchen sink and it was a nasty mess under there. The caulk around the sink actually was gone in a spot that we can’t see and if it got wet behind the sink it was dripping down under there. I had to practically wear a hazmat suit to clean it out over the weekend :sick:sick:sick That spurred a major kitchen cleaning including vacuuming the tops of the cabinets and tossing out stuff from the cupboards and pantry. My kitchen was a disaster!

Thank goodness it was a small leak! When we had ours, it was spraying all over under the house 😱. I'm so glad you got it taken care of before it became like ours. Instead of spring cleaning, you got to do fall\winter cleaning.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for your 2 eggs :fl That was smart to go ahead and get 3 more ducklings just in case. Can't wait to see pictures of them!

What a big job, glad that's behind you now :thumbsup

Yeah well, we clean in all seasons lol. It is so dusty here and our house is older. We could use some new windows to help cut down on dust to be honest.
