Fugly Farm

Man what a day! Worked like a mad woman to get through all my accounts, faxes and emails. Straightened up the coop after work and gave the girls fresh food and water, wrapped my DILs gift from my son and gave that to him when we came by, took the dogs to the vet, went to the store after that for a few things and then home. It’s 19:30 and we’re finally having dinner. I’m pooped and I still need to shower before bed.

I got tired just reading that. Hope today is an easy one for you!

Frank wanted a cookie. The jar is on a small metal table next to the chair in my office and the pups sit here under my desk and stare at it until they get one. Or two.

Todays project has just changed. I can’t move the bunnies outside, I don’t feel like it’s safe to do so. There’s a hemorrhagic disease in wild buns here in AZ and I don’t want to put them at risk. What I can do is make it easier on myself to clean and maintain in there. Will take pics to share updates.

Sounds like a good idea to keep them inside for now IM. Looking forward to seeing some new bunny pictures!

I went to walmart for a second rug and new bin and also found an acceptable pool there for the ducklings so no trip to TSC. Yay!

It's always helpful when errands can be combined...going from store to store is exhausting (that's what we're doing today).

Tsk tsk showing a bit of dirt there. All that came out from under the frame of the pen. I removed the small rug I had in there, swept, vacuumed, and mopped, then put in a bigger one. The yellow rugs are temporary until I can get to Home Depot or Lowe’s over the weekend for an outdoor rubber backed one. Someone keeps tinkling outside the litter box and I don’t know why. It doesn’t smell bad and I keep on top of it. Maybe I need to put a bit of hay on top of the pine pellets. The black bin has broken hay flakes in it so it’s right next to the silo for filling. Also easy to move out to the big bin to refill and not heavy when full. I moved out the gallon waterer, it’s a pain to deal with, and gave them a bowl instead. I feel like I’ll be more inclined to wash it more often that way. The last thing is some sort of platform for them to use to get up on the top floor of their condo. HopTart can get up there ok but I think Kevin may be too little.

You’re right, all that running around isn’t fun at all! Don’t tire yourself out. I’m waiting until Sunday for the rest of it so I can make hubs go with me
