Yep, that's the hard part for sure. So far, I've been lucky enough that DH has taken care of those situations (and it's not easy for him either).

So maybe you only have 2 drakes...Jasper and one of the white ones? That would help!

Yes maybe one of the white ones, or she’s the one hold out. I’ll wait and see how many eggs we get for a while and monitor behavior.
Hubs usually does the deed itself, but I’m right there. I don’t have the strength to use the knife he uses so I’d have to use a hatchet myself. Still, it’s unpleasant and we don’t waste so then there’s the cleaning and all that. Sorry if I misspelled anything :lol:
