Been there. Two sons, and two grown grandson's. I love the cracked voice stage.

My son didn’t really get a cracked voice, just a little bit, but it was cute.

You’ve got your hands full! I sometimes just want a yard full of roosters, but I don’t think my neighbors would appreciate that much. I’m glad they’re all getting along ok so far. I hope you find homes for the rest too, I’m positive they’d go into someone’s cook pot around here. I’m sort of over that, but happy to have had the experience. I really have no idea what I’m going to do with chicks if we get any. I won’t have the heart to take them away until they’ve grown.

I had reasonable success with giving away pairs, cockerel and pullet. It was important to me and to keep the tribes going, that the hens sat and hatched.

I know how you feel. My " little" Hayden just turned 11 and he is already as tall as I am.

Hayden is a grandbaby. My baby baby is 30. My oldest daughter is (omg...had to do the math) 43.
