I do sometimes, but I’m always worried about running into that little dog; if it’s stupid and tries to attack us then Frank will kill it most likely. Not on purpose, he would just hold it in his mouth so it can’t hurt me and that would be the end of it. I don’t want my “vicious pit bull,” who doesn’t start fights just finishes them, to be the “bad guy.”

I understand that. I also understand Frank's point of view.
What I do not understand, is an owner who let's their dog run loose. She should be concerned about others, as well as her dog being injured.
