Phoenix and Aetna may have to swap names. The little Nn chick is a cockerel. His comb is becoming rather prominent already. Possible replacement for Elvis if he doesn’t straighten up.

I couldn’t get very good snaps of the chicks, they’re rambunctious and hungry right now, but here’s what I got so far. Will try again this afternoon

Also, I’m currently in talks with the boy and his wife to trade Elvis and Toast for three female ducks. They don’t have many female chickens but they do have female ducks and three would be my limit, preferably just two.

That they are! I agree all chicks are cute, but Nn babies just have something extra adorable about them.
