Hey guys, so I noticed one of my two--year-olds moving a little slower the past week but she was still eating. However I felt her crop last night and then again this morning and it was still full this morning. So I just followed the protocol of isolating her I gave her some solid coconut oil and I gave her some fresh water no food. I’m gonna be massaging her crop every two hours and probably doing coconut oil every four. Do you have any idea what this could be or any tips on what I should do?Thank you for reading.

Do you know if its sour or impacted crop?
Here's a good article.->

I’m thinking impacted, however I forgot to small her beak this morning. I isolated her from the flock just so she wouldn’t eat anything. I gave her some coconut oil and have massaged her crop twice now. The article mentioned “message slightly upward to empty.” But I’m confused because another article said message downward so she won’t vomit. 🤨

See where the crop empties in this picture? You don't want to massage very far up so she doesn't aspirate, but not all the way down as to not make it empty.

Does it feel as though it's filled with fluid, or is it solid/doughy? If it is fluidy you can be really careful and tilt her upside down and gently massage it to see if you can empty it a little. However this can be risky and a lot of people won't recommend it. If you do it you should not do it for more than like 5 seconds at a time and give her plenty of time to breathe between times you do it. It won't solve the problem but it may help her feel more comfortable. If her breath smells you should treat with antifungals and give ACV in their water.

Is she still eating?
When was the last time she laid an egg?
Since I think she has impacted crop, I isolated her from food, but gave her water. As for the egg, no. She had been molting until about 1-2 weeks ago and still no eggs from her.

Could it be an internal parasite? Or egg bound?

She’s very slow,feels lighter then usual, had the wet poops, the un-emptying crop, and maybe even some poopy back vent feathers.
