I love your SSH's @chicken4prez !

@Alexandra33 yes, the colors are exactly the same, but take a look at its comb, that's what makes me really suspicious. Also I'm suspicious about almost everyone else, except for my bantam chick, and silkies. All of the others have big combs, and the ones that don't act like their roosters. :/ I got pictures of everyone up close. I'll see if I can post those later, but here's some close ups of this little one.

@chicken4prez , your SSHs are LOVELY! What beautiful girls.

@CherriesBrood , Welsummers are, as far as I know, supposed to be an autosexing breed.

I would start getting worried about it being a he if that comb starts growing really fast and pinking up at all. But, whatever it is, it's sure an adorable bird!

One of my Silver Penciled Wyandottes is having a hard time, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's blind. Poor little thing has no energy, sleeps almost constantly, and is a little wobbly.

It doesn't eat out of the feeder, either! Hopefully giving it Nutridrench and yogurt out of a dropper will help keep it from starving to death at the moment while it gains strength.

I'm LOVING one of the little Mille Fleurs so much that I had to name it before I actually know if it's a cockerel or a pullet.

Since it's tiny, evil, and bites a lot, it earned what I now call it: Piranha.

What a cutie!

Haha, thanks. Yes. I have a feeling it might start doing that.

Oh no! Poor thing, I sure hope that it will make it!

I love, love, love, your mille fluer d'uccle! I wish that we got one now. I cant wait to start breeding my porcelain d'uccle! I love both of the mille fluer, and porcelain d'uccle colors so much!

Ok here's all of the other ones I'm suspicious of.

This isn't all of them, but these ones have some pretty good sized combs, plus they kinda act like they are roosters, by jumping around on others, and a few have stood up to me already.

It's doing a little better today, so hopefully all is well.

Thank you so much! He/she is my evil little Piranha; so adorable.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying all of my d'Uccles, Porcelain and Mille Fleur. Their personalities are superb!

Your babies are soooooooo cute.

Is that a Sebright in one of the pictures? I guess time will tell the genders of our babies, since it's pretty early to know for sure at this point. At the moment, I'm not seeing anything that screams cockerel on your SSH.

Uh-oh, if your Salmon Faverolles is looking kind of like a male to you, mine are even more likely to be cockerels. They both have black feathers coming in on their wings, which isn't a good sign.

Hey guys! I have a hen named Maple who all probably know, I have a thought that she is POSSIBLY a Salmon. Here is a pic of her

What do you think? I'll get a other pic of her whole self tomorrow.

Good night!

That's good to hear!

Haha, yep. They are halarious! Mine is constantly trying to fly and always runs after others, it's pretty funny!
Yes that's a sebright, that one seems to have the most dominant personality, and for such a little one it's pretty funny to watch it stand up to me and the other bigger chicks.
Yes. One of my blue Cochins when it was only 6 weeks old, it started to get some red combs and waddles, but it eneded up turning out to be a female! She's now laying eggs, it was kinda weird how that worked out.
The SSH has been standing up to me and has a bit of a comb, that picture isn't really good, but it could be a female. I guess I'm kinda over worrying them being cockerels. I'll just have to wait until they are a bit older.
Oh no that's not good. Mine does have some white and black feathers, but I don't know if that's how they come out at first. My other salmon Favorelle had bits of black with her coming in feathers when she was a chick. I know you can color sex the breed, but I'm not sure when you can know for sure.

@chicken4prez Maples very pretty! Your right, she does look like she is "partly salmon Favorelle". Im thinking she is a mix between that and Americuana, but I could be wrong.

All of the chicks on this thread are beautiful! My last 2 chicks RIR's had to be put down, they couldn't walk.... I miss them. I get to have some new austrolorp fluffballs in April. Yay!
Btw, Piranha is SUCH a great, cute name!
