My little bantam rooster got bad frostbite from below zero degree weather and heavy windstorms. I continued putting vasaline because by a miracle most of my other roosters would heal. But he did not seem to get too much better and now looking like fungus is growing on it. Is this just the process of it decaying because it is too late? I’ve never dealt with frostbite before but with this crazy fluctuating temperatures my chickens have been a lot more sensitive. Most of my chickens also have been having crazy molting patterns as well because of how unusually warm it is for a winter where I live. Is there anything I can do for him I’ve never dealt with any sort of fungus. His coop is also not humid which I assume moisture will have to do with fungus looking growth as well. I will attach some pictures. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
