Funny and true story about my Predator .......

"bet the sheriff office is having a cook out, i would"
- a job has gotta have its perks.

I am impressed on your sturdy construction. So that is "bull strong, hog tight and horse high?" applies to coops too? Do you have better photos of your bull proof coop?

Food sounds like the key. I once caught the neighbors straying horses with nothing more than a bathroom trash can and a packet of instant oatmeal. He was rather amazed.

LOL wow well I have to say I could see our bull "23" doing that too. I am guessing the one you have there is less than 5000lb by far tho, teehee, but still intimidating nonetheless! Thats just so funny, the big baby was prolly curious. I have a soft spot for bulls, which DH says will get me into trouble one day since I treat ours like a dog...DH says "just wait till he tries to climb into your lap thru the truck window for more ear scratching!" but they are just so dang cute!

Our neighbors had a bull... He was the sweetest thing - he had to be bottled raised, so that was a big part of his good attitude. He would lay in the field with their goat. OMG, it was the sweetest thing EVER! But, he was meant for you know what, and that's what eventually happened

LOL we never butcher bulls, after a few years not being castrated the meat tastes off. We band them the minute they are born unless momma is nuts then we wait about a week. Our old bull whom we sold at age 3 was Ben, I loved him. 23 is a little more ppl shy as he grew up for 18 mo on a HUGE ranch with little human contact. But he's coming round.

Bulls can be DANGEROUS !
Glad nobody was hurt and the coop is still standing.

A few years ago somebody's whole heard go loose and was on our property. Its was dark when they escaped and its was in the morning when we found them. They tore through my uncles shed and made 5000$ in damages. The bull was mean and tried attacking my uncle. We all loaded up in the back of the truck and ran them off.The bull stayed and rammed into the truck almost throwing us out.we shot him with the shotgun 'bird shot" we just peppered his hind end and he ran off.We had called the sheriffs and they located the owners. The cows ran back home and were sold a week later. Scarry stuff
