I've noticed every once in a while my 8 mth old Silkied Serama will keep swallowing or act like she's catching flies, her head will be up in the air. She doesn't have anything stuck in her throat. What is she doing?[IMG]

Sounds like she is adjusting her crop.

Mine, when their crops are getting full, will open their beaks, stretch their necks and kind of wiggle their head/neck a bit. All these moves help move things into and along in the crop.
