I had a rooster- Quazzy who was a splay as a chick. He cured himself. (I kept him from the other chicks that hatched with him, then when new ones hatched he was about 2 weeks, I put him with the new chicks. He was able to rest, and not have to use his legs. He walks just fine now.)

My daughter has a black and white Polish hen named Skunk. She made a drawing of Skunk and entered it into a 4-H art show. Her title of the drawing was”My hen named Skunk”, the judge gave her a low score that said, “This drawing doesn’t look like a skunk at all.” We got a pretty good laugh out of it at least.

Well there’s John McClegg who like’s to play Shell Shockers on line and refers to his opponents as ‘Mother Clucker’, specifically, “Yipee Kayay, Mother Clucker”....or “Adios, Mother Clucker” when he lobs a hen grenade their way....
