My chickens always go missing. It scares me every time ever since my chicken Martha went missing, and was found. Dead. So it scares me every time a bird goes missing, but it happens all the time.

one day, I was counting the birds, and realized I only counted 10 out of the 11, and of course panicked, only to realize after 10 minutes of panic, that she was under my rooster and another hen. She had snuggled up next to my rooster, in a way that forced his wing on top of her, and a hen was snuggling right up next to her.

2 story:
Chickens love the lazer cat lights. Geese do NOT! Like them.

Now I want to try the lazer with them! But maybe I should wait until its darker...

They’re either scared of it, or think it’s an insect and will chase it around. My geese ran like it was going to kill them.

Just have to share this morning's laugh with you...so this morning I was playing an oldies music station on the phone, while scooping poop under night perches, and this song came on.
Let me tell ya...when the "Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah part started, ALL of my flock sang along!!!
And sang quite loudly & exuberantly!!!
It was hilarious!!!
You guys should try it with your flock, I think I've stumbled onto something here Lol!

Not to long ago I got some Lavender Orps, one of my Rhode Island Reds “adopted” them and the other chickens are nice to them. One day I panicked cause I couldn’t find my favorite little chick. I looked everywhere. I eventually gave up sad. Then later when I went to get the eggs I went to the nesting box (it’s a 300$ one where when the chickens lay the eggs, the eggs roll into a tray so I chickens can’t break there eggs and eat them) so I open the tray where they roll into and there is my chick sleeping there
