Yeah, I guess they were a bit disappointed with their client when he started having seizures. He went to the regular vet and then I sought out a specialist. He went to a neurologist and got an MRI, an eeg and some other sort of fancy brain scan. They just kept doing more and more tests until they actually pinpointed the problem spot in his brain. It felt so good knowing that no matter what the vet said I wasn't going to leave the office bawling because I couldn't afford it. If I had to cover all of his medical costs, DH would probably be having seizures. Then came the cancer surgery. I remember the vet sitting me down to council me on the treatment options. He looked so concerned when he said, "I just want you to know that if we do this treat ment that it could cost as much as $XXXX." Once again, it was THANK YOU JESUS for that terrible insurance investment. When I told DH the other day that the dog might have to have bladder surgery, he just looked at me and said, "Please tell me that he still has insurance."
They pay promptly. I would recommend them. They have raised their rates a bit, but we are grandfathered in at a cheaper rate than posted on their site.
Petfirst is who I have my pet's insurance with and I LOVE them!!!
