Good for your roo...
But speaking as a mother...if I was the other participant's parental unit, I'd be upset that you let that nasty animal bite my darling child. Don't you know that chickens carry rabies and parrot fever?!!!

Tongue firmly implanted in cheek by the way...
The little punk got what he deserved. so there...

I'd be nervous about this kid - a sixth grader should be more sensible around animals. Do you feel comfortable talking to his parents, or can you ask your parents to do it? As birdlover says, someone displaying these sorts of behaviors may be trouble. In my opinion, he needs some intervention by his parents! (Not that your roo didn't do an admirable job on his own!

well i know this sounds unbeleivable but the kid came back but this time with a slingshot and guess what my rooster took him out again!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::mad::mad::eek::mad::eek::eek: this time my roo got him from on top of the coop and dived bombed him on the head and got some of his hair so he took of with my rooster hot on his trail and he jumped the fence and ran back to his house so i go sprinting after him and give him and his parents an earfull on what their little brat did and i found out he has a past of going after animals and is currently seeing a therepist for past problems all in all it ended with the kids parents being very sorry and the little brat getting what he diserved and my rooster with a trophy of a beak full of hair and a section of t shirt. some more pics of the roo after the incident. i know do not have much of a worry because the kids parents gave him quite an earfull and im sure he wont do it agian or he'll have to deal with me and my rooster! thanks for listening on my rant about my roo.

I'm glad his parents are acting responsible in this matter.

He may still try to get back at your chickens, but it sounds like you have a very good "guard dog" LOL.

I think you should get a sign that says " Beware...Attack Rooster" & put it on the fence closest to his house as a reminder to him...in case he has a memory lapse.

I noticed his spurs are small, he must be a young man. Wait until they grow some & the neighbor kid tries something...he will get a licking he won't soon forget!!!!

Wow, the look on that Roos face is priceless! He is on the lookout for sure. Im glad your roo is on top of things....but....be carefull. There is no way this little brat can poison them is there? I would ask your parents to make a police report....then, if ANYTHING happens to your roo....it was reported. What a beautifull Roo you have there...congrats!

I hope that kid doesn't have a BB gun. Did his parents confiscate the slingshot?--I hope so. Sounds like that kid has waaaayyy too much free time and needs some chores in addition to his psychiatric therapy. Does he have any pets? I just wonder how he treats them.

Good video, Pipermark!
