Funny roo

I have a bantam roo that is about 8-9 months 1 female bantam about the same age and two bantam hens a little over a year old and two hens RIRs that I got as chicks on mothers day the roo jump around like his wing is hurt then the girls will run over and he puffs up and jumps at them is he showing off? Oh also the two older bantams have not layed eggs since September why?

Sounds like your funny Roo might be exhibiting breeding traits. No idea why the hens are not laying, could be the change in season. It's my understanding a minimum of 14 hours of light is needed.

The rooster dance !! AKA: flogging. Most of my roosters do it also, they lower one wing and start dancing, its a mating thing !!
