Funny Warning to all House Chicken Owners.........

Make sure their.cage door is shut completely!!!! I put sneeky String Bean back in her cage...thought door was locked....Nope! Came back in from feeding up to find hubby asleep on the couch and Bean over by the fireplace .....ripping up the edge of the carpet. She also left a trail of blessings since she.went diaperless..... :/ She had a fun time making a mess and tried to hide when i found her.... .

It is amazing what they can get out of and into so fast. Came in the back door yesterday morning to find one of the Brahma chicks walking across the living room rug. Apparently someone figured out how to get out of the brooder. The 3 cats and 3 dogs have been having to deal with grumpy broodies for a month now so none of them wanted to go near anything that might be related to a grumpy broody. Naturally she was not wearing a diaper...

I wish I could get her pics off my phone.....she's a little splash monster Silkie that has my hubby wrapped around her finger. as soon as she hears the microwave beep when he comes home... If she's out, she's pecking him on the ankle and looking up at him...begging. If that doesn't work she'll sit on his feet. If shes in the pen...she goes nuts, squacking.... Jumping around.... Pushing on the door....trying to get attention. He likes to try and hide from her and she'll chase him around the couch.... Or down the hall. For a Silkie she can sure run....... . When she's finished she'll jump up on the foot of the couch and into my blanket... Hehe
