Ok, it is definitely in the air sac, I can see the pink bill, but it's not moving much, I heard it chirping 2hrs ago and it's been pretty quiet, I even put one of the ducklings momentarily in the hatchery to see if I could get a rocking or more chirping going on, but nothing and right now i'm in a bit of a panic because I feel like I need to intervene and not just pip it, but actually gentally and quickly take it out and if it's still alive put it in the hatchery to dry off. My gut feeling to do this is screaming at me, but I'm trying to find my stethoscop to be sure! I tried my ear, but I just couldn't tell completely, but didn't hear any chirping either. And frankly I'm scared to leave it go and see what it will do on it's own but end up dying if it hasn't already since the chirp wa a bit weak this morning, and scared to do something afraid I'll kill it, I'm afraid either way the out come isn't good.
