Here's one of my girls... She is a Black Australorp, who went broody, sat on some eggs but I took the chicks when they hatched. Apparently that didn't matter! Those chicks are 3.5 months old. Now the little frizzle will scream her head off if she can't find her "momma"... She didn't do that until Girlie there started sitting on them

Hen thinking: "Just play dead and it WILL go away!!!!!!"
