Do I really have to explain the plan to this antique? Azaz clicked her beak in annoyance. As she thought, another raven landed with a whoosh besides them. Shadow eyed them both. She addressed the old raven.
"Earl. Bring any news I should know about?"

Rocket nodded in understanding. "You know, I really think you'd do well to join a gang. The way you attacked those gulls.. your fighting skills would be put to good use." She urged.
Nanako: you really think so? Your the only gang pigeon thats really chosen to speak with me rather then chase me off.

“Well, I did find a strange, harmless young squab walking through the woods. He appeared to be almost flightless. He’s as good as dead. Interestingly, I also met an injured gull. He’s probably dead too. He went south, near the border of gull territory.”
"Quiet!" Suliver hissed, narrowing his eyes.
"Russet is not yours to command." Cement cooed firmly.
Suliver glared at them. "That's another example of your weakness, sister. You let your underlings speak for you." He said, repositioning himself and making his razor-talons flash in the weak light of the midday sun. "When the time comes for me to call on you, I expect you and your troops to give me full obedience." He cooed, his voice, which had been low, reaching its normal volume again.
Cement saw Russet open his beak out of the corner of her eye, and shot him a look. We've almost got him. Just stay silent. She mentally urged.
"Anyway, back to the matter at wing.. your task is to find a gull for me. A gull named Salty Fries."
Salty Fries. Fancy name for a gull, isn’t it? He must really think he’s something. “Gotcha,” Russet said, quickly nodding, before looking at Cement for approval.

Thattel examined Aspen, then sighed in defeat. She obviously would never agree with him about the crows and ravens being enemies.
"You know what? We should go on a recruitment mission. I'm sure Shadow or some other high-ranker will let us." He said, trying to get her mind off the little crow. From his point of view, there was nothing to be done about Magnolia, and she was going to be released soon anyways. Maybe if Aspen sees the good things that the Resistance does, she'll change her mind and stay. He thought hopefully.

"From what I've heard, it's not safe in the Forest anymore." Blizzard said, carefully watching her reaction. "There's a group.. that doesn't agree with the pigeon military."
Moonlight’s brows drew together and a shadow crept across her face. Why hasn’t the general told me about this? Do I not yet have clearance on something so major? “Tail feathers.” she muttered.
“So they’re some kind of resistance group? What are they called?”

Nanako: you really think so? Your the only gang pigeon thats really chosen to speak with me rather then chase me off.
"I normally would have, but you didn't seem threatening.." Rocket muttered. "You were just ignorant of gangs, not against them." She narrowed her eyes in contempt for the other non-members.

"Interesting," Shadow mused, "any particular reason you didn't finish them off?"
Azaz smirked and flew back up to the rafters.

"Wait," Cement narrowed her eyes at Suliver. She put her wing out just a bit to get Russet's attention. "I recognize that name.." She murmured, watching Suliver's face. She wasn't surprised at the flicker of cruel amusement in his eyes.
"What makes this gull so special?"
"Nothing much," Suliver cooed, the shadow of a smirk on his face, "except that she has a certain taste for pigeons."
He shot into the sky and his bodyguards followed. One of them, Zebbel, got swept up in an updraft and careened into the branches of a leafless tree. The gang pigeon winged away from the tree, trying to look dignified as she followed Suliver back towards their base.

Blizzard shrugged. "Doesn't matter. The General will probably crush them." He said this in an almost bored way, but he watched Moonlight's expression carefully out of the corner of his eye at his news.

"If you think that it's best we do, then I'll follow your lead." She replied, not really knowing how the group worked well enough yet to give him a definite answer
"Let's go over there right now," Thattel said quickly, before his resolve could weaken any further. He flapped a short distance, then landed and hopped towards Shadow, waiting for Earl to finish speaking to her.

Earl sighed. Why hadn’t he finished them off. “It was very clear that the forest would finish them for me. I pity a fightless fowl in this forest. Anyways, the pigeon is probably dead on the edge of pigeon territory at the gull is probably coyote food on our eastern border.”

“Good day to you too!” Russet said, waving at the pigeon whose flight had a rather bumpy start. “Nice meeting yah!”
Russet bounced along the wire thoughtfully. “Salty Fries, Salty Fries... we need to find a gull with the name Salty Fries.” He could almost taste the saltiness drying out his tongue. The gull really did have a rather imaginative name. He hopped from the wire and beat his wings, flying over the jeering faces below.

Moonlight smeared composure all over her face, shoving the doubts back within her. “I’m sure she will, but could you tell me more about this organization? The more we know the less it can be a threat.” I’ve openly admitted it can be a threat. Because even I don’t know about it.
