Ritz nodded solemnly. "Well..." he said. "Can I go now?"I’ve told you.” She cooed. If Suliver catches him or one of the other gulls.. She tried to push these thoughts out of her mind. No use worrying. My gang needs me.
Tiddles sat on her nest and shielded it with her wings, staring up at the sky with sudden ferocity. If those egg-smashers wanted to smash her eggs, they would have to smash her first! (feel free to kill her with the other NPCs. It's not like a pet where if you name it it can't die)Blizzard’s first thought was of scattering. They would be harder to find that way. But, every bird would have to fend for themselves. They would be scared and alone.
Though some of the flightier of the flock had already dispersed, the pigeons with young couldn’t just fly off on their own. They would need help. And Blizzard had to be there for his gang, even if they blamed him for this. Even if he was the only one who decided to stay.
“I know of a pigeon who could help us.” Blizzard cooed, thinking of Cement. I hope she’ll accept us. “But first we should find refuge in the Raven-”
His words stopped abruptly. A pigeon was flying towards them, desperation in her rapid flapping. She was one of the birds who had went with Splash.
“They’re here!” She shouted, fear plain in her voice.
“They’re here to kill us!”
Blizzard flew up to her, trying to get her to calm down and explain the situation. “What did you see?”
The pigeon didn’t answer. She was looking towards the streets of the city.
A flock of pigeons clouded the sky.
Other, less devoted or more timid birds scattered, some of them flying north with all of the speed and devotion of a noble carrier or racer. Sulliver's thugs couldn't get them now. Not with their focus on the stragglers.
