A small human about the age of six ran at Bagel Bite. He scooped the seagull up in his arms. "Look at me!" he screeched to his mother.

Out of surprise, the boy screamed dropping Bagel Bite and started to wail in high pitched sobs. The boy's mother waved her hands to shoo Bagel Bite away.

Bagel Bite spread his wings in a dominant gesture and squawked back at the women, and then flew back up to Lore and continued to do that same thing. "Haven't ya ever heard of personal space!?"

Bagel Bite was involuntarily a little reluctant to give up being in charge. "Alright..Where to?"

Cedar saw how worried her mate looked. To make him feel better she smiled and said, "I won't mind having more pigeons," she said clicking her beak at the thought of a nice plump pigeon. Pepper started to chant "Pigeon! Pigeon! Pigeon! I wanna eat more pigeon!" Cedar chuckled at Pepper. "Lets go hunting!" she said.

Cloud smiled softly, but there was still worry in his eyes. I'm not going to be able to convince her.. should've known, Cedar's a stubborn bird. "I'm just.. afraid for the chicks." He murmured to her, gently nudging her with his beak. "But, you're right. We need to go hunt." He said a bit louder.

"Yeah, I agree with you," Ritz was frozen, eyes plastered on the albatross.

"Yeah, sparrows, finches, they're all trouble I say..." Fish Sticks stuck his beak in Ritz's face. "You okay, there? Ya look like my aunt when she saw a cat. Cat mangled her once, she barely got away. But she's tough as mussels, ol' Grayyil..."

Bagel Bite followed them reluctantly, looking at the barn mildly, clearly his interest was still on the two ravens. "There ain't a pigeon army after us now so will you quit talkin in one worded sentences and tell us what on Earth you want, why we're here, and WHAT is going ON!?" He snapped.

"We have to wait for our leader. He'll be here soon." Claw replied curtly.

We could try to revive it. I think we are waiting for @RoostersAreAwesome

(Yeah.. He/she isn't very reliable though, that's the problem. At this rate we'd be getting 1 RP session every 3-5 weeks. If @RoostersAreAwesome has lost interest (which seems apparent but I don't wanna jump to conclusions) maybe we can keep going on without them and just do our own thing?)

(I'm sorry for being gone.. I haven't been on here for a while now. I'll try to be more active, but I may not be able to roleplay much on weekdays.)

Lore started to pace the branch impatiently. "Well, if you aren't going to tell us anything I'm leaving!" she declared. Lore hopped off the branch and started to fly away. Suddenly she stopped in mid-air and looked back at Bagel Bite as if to say, "Coming?"

Bagel Bite gave them one last disdainful look and caught up with Lore. "Treatin' us like a sacka Dodo birds.. Good riddance!" Bagel Bite did not know what a Dodo bird was, but he heard other birds using and term and adopted it himself. He looked back smugly at the blackbirds, and suddenly become serious. "Let's split up and start dodging between the trees, all zig-zaggy like, in case they tail us. I'll meet ya at the edge of the forest in the valley with the human campgrounds. Ya know where that is?"

The group of advancing pigeons were finally nearing the forest. Barky examined the dense tree thats were rapidly coming closer. He craned his neck behind him and shouted to his fellow comrades: "I'll go down there and scope things out myself, if I see anything I'll give you a call and you all come and ambush em." He flapped his wings vigorously and dove down into the trees, finally perching on a high tree branch densely shielded by leaves. There he waited.

And that good humored, smug look never left his face.

Claw, who was staring at the barn door impatiently, turned around to check on the others too late. "Cat fur!" She cursed, looking around desperately. "Where have they gone?" She muttered. Drex and Azaz had already gone in, so she had some time. She hopped off the branch, scanning the undergrowth.
