Pepper looked at Maple like she had just said that porcupines fly. "Okay..." she said taking a step back.
Maple nodded and looked out. She like to watch them hunt for pigeon. The pigeons were faster than the hawks. Some didn't even fly away. Some put up a fight.
Maple wondered what it was like to fly with the speed of a pigeon. To fly at all. But mostly she was content with her fat, cushy life, and didn't want to leave.

"Ah, well, that's no thing to worry about. I was just gettin' to be introducing myself..." Riski replied. "I'm Riski, a wandering albatross..."
A funny looking duck-gull thing is an albatross? Wondered Ritz.
"Jus' most don't wander this far. Now I saw this were a good bay to settle for a while, so I decided to land it. Say, what fauna wander your parts here?" He tilted his yellow eye and turned his head.
"Fauna? What do ya mean?" Fish Sticks asked quizzically.
Cedar smiled and preened her mate's feathers affectionately. "We'll be back with fresh killed pidgeon," promised Cedar spreading her wings and taking off.
Cloud followed, slightly behind his mate. "I think we shouldn't split up this time. Might make it easier to catch them." He said.

"The animals abouts, of course," Riski replied. "I like to know about who lives where I've been. Have you ever met an ostrich? If you had, I'd bet you'd know why."

(I'm sorry for being gone.. I haven't been on here for a while now. I'll try to be more active, but I may not be able to roleplay much on weekdays.)

(That's a good drawing. Are you going to color it? :p)

Claw, who was staring at the barn door impatiently, turned around to check on the others too late. "Cat fur!" She cursed, looking around desperately. "Where have they gone?" She muttered. Drex and Azaz had already gone in, so she had some time. She hopped off the branch, scanning the undergrowth.
Cedar started to fly over the camp ground forests and spotted a burrowing owl and a seagull on top of an RV. She started to circle the pair of birds.

"Oh for the love of..." He shot off in a straight line flying back into the forest. "Ravens in the forest, pigeons in the city, hawks everywhere else, IS THERE ANY PLACE THAT'S SAFE?". "Lore! Lore! Where are you?"

Barky spotted a black bird out of the corner of his eye. Hmmm, maybe she's looking for someone. He watched her from a tree, but his bright coloring didn't particularly blend him in.

Earl had flown far from the ravens, trying to find some time for himself.
The large black raven landed heavily on a slender branch, though no more than a twig, it supported him like he was nothing but a shadow. He was, by principle, suspending himself in the air by sheer force of greatness alone.
His ever-wandering eye roved the landscape beneath him.
A gull was flapping his great pale wings faster than a strobe light; the sun, having penetrated the trees in this area, was reflecting off his wings making them a painful, brilliant shade of white.
The raven squinted, before giving up on the whole vision thing altogether, opening his ears to the many sounds of the forest. One in particular stood out. The gull was squawking most disgracefully.
"Have you ever thought to go to the ocean, where gulls like you belong?" He inquired politely. "That is, after all, their designated territory, certainly you wouldn't want to ahum..." Earl coughed quietly, "intrude on raven land."

He came to a tumbling, screeching halt and nearly ran into a tree, he was still uneasy on his legs.
Panting heavily and with wild eyes, he looked up and cocked his head at the raven. "I never.. thought.. of that." He said in between breaths, "Maybe I'll just ask my good ol' buddy the hawk up there TO GIVE ME A RIDE." The taxing fight with the pigeons, the questionable ravens, and the squealing human child had drained all of his patience.

Earl squinted. The seagull had an eye tick, and some could argue he was insane. "You do that then," he said, rolling his eyes. His considerable size made him immune to any predatory attacks from above, but he still glanced upward and back to the gull, curious to what his actual motive was.
