"Faster!" Riski squeaked, diving towards the trees, wondering if the gulls would follow. While he had cleared the bay in minutes, the gull was struggling.Fish Sticks glanced behind himself and squawked in surprise. He tried to speed up, flapping furiously after Riski. This was a bad idea, since he was quickly drained of energy.
"I want to stay here with Twig and Sprout." Frog stated firmly, his beak tipped up so he could look her in the eye.

Magnolia cawed in alarm by the rude awakening and squirmed out of the larger crow's grip. "Come on!" she said. Powered by adrenalin and her brief nap, Magnolia was cruising at record time.
