Aspens eyes widened. "Wait, you're not with the pigeons? Sure, I'll gladly join, but I still don't see why you have to treat these crows like this."
"Of course not," Shadow scoffed, "I wouldn't partner with those tyrannical dump-eaters if you paid me." She waved her wing at the crows dismissively. "They'll be fine. You'll see."

"I'm still here..." Magnolia muttered through the feathers of the raven who was pinning her. "Are you guys going to include me in your Resistance... thing, or are you going to let me go?"

Moonlight touched down on top of a tall, grey apartment building. She scanned the area around her, looking for a white-marked pigeon, knowing Blizzard often hung around here.
Some pigeons were milling about below, and the black and white pigeon landed among them. The common street pigeons stood back, knowing they were gazing at a well-respected member of the pigeon military. "I am looking for a Blizzard," she declared, cool white eyes studying each critically. "We have important matters to discuss."

Aspen nodded. "Alright. What's your name?"
"Usually I'm asked that with more of a fearful tone." She mused. "You can call me Shadow, young one."
He shot a death glare at Shadow, and then an even harder one at Aspen. This was all her fault.
Aspen looked at him apologetically.

"I have another use for you, fledgling." The large raven purred, ducking her head to examine the young crow. "Your role is of utmost importance." There was a strange glint in her eye.

One pigeon came forward, his head dipped in respect for the lieutenant. "May I ask what you want with him?" Splash asked quietly. He hoped that Moonlight wouldn't realize that he was a non-member.

(I know, I just forgot to reply. :p)

Aspen dipped her head. She felt her feathers rise a tiny bit when she heard what she said to the little crow she had nursed for a short while.

"What?" Magnolia asked. She thought for a bit, and a sudden realization panicked her. "You're not ransoming me are you?" Her eyes widened with fear.

Moonlight was a bit irked by the fact she had to tell this small pigeon her motives. Still, she returned politely, "I need a tracker for investigation on some questionable events. Hopefully this time Blizzard will understand our focus.
As beneficial as he had become to the pigeon military in similar events past, Blizzard was not easy to convince.
