Moonlight waited patiently.

Magnolia squeaked and struggled, but knew enough to know they would just catch her if she tried to get away. "They are ransoming me..." she muttered under her breath.
You could hear scratching and curses from the crevice. A small, mottled gray and white shape struggled to free himself from the rocks, then popped out and dusted off his scraggly feathers. "Lieutenant Moonlight," he chirped, looking around, as if expecting more pigeons. "What can I do for you?"

"I would like to ask for your assistance on a current assignment," Moonlight said curtly. "I do hope you understand the importance." She glanced around to make sure there were no onlookers. "A lieutenant was injured in a very strange accident, involving a couple pigeons, a gull, and an owl. It is mandatory that we hunt down these fugitives and put them to justice. However, they could be in any of the three other territories."
"Stop squirming," snarled the raven tied to Magnolia. She then lifted into flight, dragging the unfortunate crow behind her. Shadow launched into the air as well, taking the lead.
Magnolia flapped helplessly to keep from dragged. Hunger soon gnawed at her, for crows cannot sustain flight for long without eating, and it weakened her. Magnolia soon hung limply, swinging at the end of the cord upsidedown, exhausted by the days events.

'Investigation on some questionable events'? That doesn't sound suspicious at all. Despite his doubts, Splash quickly dipped his head and took flight, then waddled under part of the pier. "Blizzard, a lieutenant is here to see you about your... tracking services." He cooed quickly into the dark crevices between the rocks.

Claw swung her beak to look Barky in the eyes. "Ok, sonny, you're going to tell me about the other group you're working for, or-" She stood tall, her menacing form towering over him. "-I'm gonna tear off those pretty little wings."

"Her parents are loyal, and that's what matters." Shadow growled. "They'll come and save her, just wait." She then gestured at a raven, who pulled off a bundle of twine on his leg and tied it to Pinto's leg, then to Magnolia's. They were now linked to two ravens.
"GET OFF ME YOU EGG-SUCKERS." Pinto screeched as soon as his beak was free, as he was lifted into the air he batted his wings in the opposite direction and tried to pull away like a wild dog tied to a chain.

Barky's first primal reaction was to smirk. "You do that and what are you gonna tell that lieutenant of mine?" He shot quick, fleeting glances around the surrounding area. "You think she'd believe a black-bird like you over her own kind? I've done this for a long time. If you think I can't find my way out of this one you're wrong."

When Pinto started struggling, Aspen went up to him and pecked him. "Stop struggling, even if you get free, there's too many of us for you to get away."

Pinto roared at Aspen, trying to claw her and all the while shrieking distress calls. For a crow he was big and strong, but that's really all he had going for him.

She easily dodged his claws then dived down and grabbed some blades of grass. She quickly tied his beak shut, hoping no nearby crows had heard his distress call.
