~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

Rocket looked at Nanako blankly for a second. What is she-
“Oh. Right.”
Rocket whipped around to fix Nickel with a glare. “Don’t follow us unless you’re gonna help!” She cooed threateningly, though nothing she had done so far showed that she could back up her threat.
“Let’s go!” Rocket whooped, leaping into the air after her flying colleagues.
Little did she know that they were flying towards a massacre.
Nickel shrugged, like it was still unknown whether he was going to help or not. He shot off after Rocket.

*nanako nodded and jumped into the air after her.*

Nanako: right behind you. *she said, though she didn't know what trouble theyd be flying into
Nickel shrugged, like it was still unknown whether he was going to help or not. He shot off after Rocket.
Rocket pretended like she totally couldn’t see Nickel flying below them out of the corner of her eye.
Soon, though, thoughts of Nickel were swept from her mind. Ahead, she saw a squad of the gang members swoop down upon a small group of non-members who had been picking through a trashcan. Most were easily subdued, except for one, splashed with white across his chest, who almost got away. Then, a light gray non-member shot away towards the piers from where she had been hidden behind another trashcan.
“C’mon!” Rocket cooed, feeling uneasy at the treatment of the non-members. Before, she would’ve saw it as something that was necessary for the safety of the gang. Now, after meeting Nanako...
They hadn’t even tried to fight back.
Rocket tried not to think about it as they flew closer and closer to the piers, and towards what she thought would be a worthy battle.

“Wait, this must be Sulliver’s gang,” Nickel realized. “Oh no! Blizzard might be in danger!” But he couldn’t outfly the gang, so he fluttered alongside, fretting.

*nanako had kinda expected the gang's reaction to the loners. Though she didn't like it because of her own previous run in with gang pidgeons. She shook it out of her thoughts as she swooped after her friend.*

Rocket pumped her wings faster. Soon, she could see the piers. She spotted a group of pigeons bustling around, looking like tiny gray dots from this distance. She wasn’t going to charge in there with so little wing power, but she wanted to get closer and access the situation.
Rocket dipped lower, so it would be harder for the pigeons to spot her. Then, as she looked around, she saw it. A whole gang of pigeons, on the horizon, clouding the sky with their wings. Her eyes widened. In awe or fear she did not know.

*nanako followed her quickly.*

Nanako: {what in the world is going on there?} *she thought to herself as she'd spotted the large gathering ahead of them.*

“They don’t need that much wingpower for such a small amount of enemies..” Rocket muttered to herself. Why would there be such a big force? Are those non-members elite fighters? She was growing increasingly uneasy. Something wasn’t right. In the back of her mind, it occurred to her that this was going to be a slaughter, but she couldn’t accept that. She had seen members of her own gang, pigeons she knew, flying to battle!

Nanako: who exactly are they fighting?? *to her it was difficult to tell the different pidgeons apart because they were so close together. Then she gave a look of surprise when she spotted a pidgeons she knew from her racing days. A young male only a little older then her.*

“I don’t know.” Rocket said.
(I’ll try to explain the situation- there’s a small group of non-member pigeons on the ground and a large flock of gang pigeons in the air. Rocket, Nanako, and Nickel are sort of between the two groups, but off to the side.)

“Oh no!” Nickel squealed, searching the group for a white pigeon. Blizzard. He flapped over. “Blizzard! Sulliver’s gang is advancing on you!” he gasped, crash landing beside Blizzard. It had been a long flight from the dump.
