Apparently the ground absorbed it.Wow, what an oversight! Was your crawlspace swamped out, or was the ground absorbing the worst of it?
I'm planning on retiring next year, once I hit 65. So I am getting big dollar stuff done while I still have a paycheck coming in.Oh my! So sorry!
If this area has been staying wet for some time, please make sure there is no mold. Hopefully if there is good ventilation there will be none.
We had a total loss from hurricane flooding years ago. Couldn't get in for days. By the time we could start work many things were destroyed by mold. It can cause respiratory problems for humans and animals.
I know you are upset. I would be too.
It looks like Jack is up-chucking!I thought my birds might enjoy a pumpkin as well. This is that Delaware hen that molted so badly, if you look closer at her hind end she looks part porcupine

Yes - I thought about this recently when getting a plumbing quote. Grateful in a way, to be able to fix up! And have backyard chickens, of course!I actually don't want to come across as complaining...my house didn't slide down a mountain or float away.

Thank you.Oh Sweetie!
You have every right to be upset and express your feelings.
Glad they are getting along. My younger cockerel, Silas, is getting on everyone's nerves. Zacchaeus has been tolerant. So the two hens and the two senior roosters are on the right hand side, and my three remaining young boys are on the left hand side
