fuzzi's Chicken Journal

Thanks for all the well wishes!

Adding a dog to the family is first on my list! I found the perfect pup, hope she's still available in 8 weeks. :fl

If not, another will turn up.

Someone asked "Won't you be bored?"

Nope. I have all my To Do projects, plus organizing the house, both sheds, emptying the attic to start with. The porch railing has some wood rot, need to replace several boards. The house interior hasn't been painted in a while.

I am still clearing out all my late husband's "stuff", and am transforming his man cave into an office/study/library.

I have plans to turn the side yard (north) into a perennial pollinator garden, and have already planted three Rose of Sharon saplings to help screen the backyard from the road.

Spring to fall my flower and vegetable gardens will need attention. The chickens, too, will keep me busy year round. I may get a couple goats!

This year I added baking bread to my routine, have an interest in doing some canning, and I may pick up my knitting, which I put away about 15 years ago. Also, I just started walking dogs at the animal shelter.

No. I don't think I'll be bored.
That is a lot of plans! I am getting tired reading all this 🤣 You can put visiting nearby BYC friends on your list too 😉

You’ll wild up idly considering going back to work just to get a break! 😜
