Fuzzy's Farm

Ewww foxies...smack 'em with a fox-swatter!
.hush egg time maybe?
You had to say brownies, didn't you. :( Plagiarism is fickle...loads of recipe books have the exact same recipes in them and they haven't had any plugs pulled on their existence. I'm not sure how they work that, but it seems to me that if they can't tell who wrote a certain recipe then there's not much they can do about it.=/
... someone has a Saber tooth as a pet??
I hope your son gets better soon...and I'm sorry Nugget isn't improving. Rough time for you right now. =(
I LOVE Weimaraners oohhh you lucky ducky!

As for me I'm depressed. 8 active eggs went into lockdown, only 4 hatched. My husband and his visiting sister did eggtopsies on the other 4 and all 4 of them had "innards" on their outside. The good news is that the 4 chicks that did hatch are beautiful beyond all reasoning, and their 'skin people' are SO gonna like them a lot. :) They are eating their starter and drinking their water this morning on their own (didn't do the beak thing).
What is a "skin people" ?

Hey there Wynette. Good to see you here.

Well no ducky pips yet ..it sucks that i forgot to mark the date lol but i know its close and bc the temp was a little lower its possible they might be a little later too or at least that is what i was told .... i know there were at least 4 viable when i put them in lock down .... and i have a stinky egg in the new bator that i cannot find ... ugg .... guess when i turn tonight ill be sniffing eggs til i find the culprit !!!11

well back to cleaing before hubby feels deserted and stops helping all together .. i need his help when we move the bed out to clean under it ...we have a small room and lots gets lost under their .. no telling what we will find .. maybe money like last time .. that is always a pleasant surprise !!!!!

I made it, wiped out though. I'm gonna have some afternoon coffee to restore my zip. Then i'm going to go see how the coop's doing,

The birds like the one roost being higher but because of where i had to put it i no longer have a poop board. Easier for me in a way, just scrape and sweep, but that also means the floor gets poopy every day! With this constant rain there ends up quite a mess, i don't have them out in it because i don't want them to take chill. Looking forward to getting in deep bedding, i am thinking smallish pine chips that can be scooped daily, so they absorb a bit and the birds don't end up walking through a sloppy mess. I liked the corncob idea, but what a price!!!

Silly birds, they had to have the high roost!

Oh, i haven't forgotten the e-book suggestion, i just don't know. I myself kinda like the paper versions, but it's something i need to consider with everyone going computer nowadays

Our friend's Weimaraners are the best. But ours..........let's just say I regret not getting the male. She was the ONLY girl and I just HAD to have her.........:he

Awe...try not to be too hard on her.  She was just being a dog....:hugs

You're right.....I just get mad when she's so mean to the old pit/lab. He's so sweet and good with chickens. And she's downright mean to him. He lost a lot of weight when she got all moody, now he's finally normal again, but I worry.............

how old is the wenie dog? My DH's family has gotten them for years, says they have temperament issues when they get older. Gotta watch to make sure they are "all there" and that their back don't go out of whack.

she may be getting to that stage. Idk if it's because of their backs, or what but it seems that was how old the last one was before he snapped. He got so bad that no one could be near him, and at the end even his owner couldn't without being careful :( Watch her close, see if she seems to be hurting? I think those are territorial too, and being a female she would rule the "den" wouldn't she?? They sure like hunting rabbits, that's what his family used them for.

Neighbor has one, it scares me because i know that dog would eat a chicken in a heartbeat! Gets a happy glow and licks his chops if he smells the chickens on my clothes. Grr.
