Fuzzy's Farm

Hello!

I was going to respond to some stuff... but I have already forgotten. No, I am not going back to read again. I read them on the touch pad. The multi quote on that is such a pain in the patooty.

Duck Dynasty is funny as heck. I get the biggest kick out of Si. That old man is just off his rocker funny.

Gigi, have you tried an elimination diet to see what your food triggers are that exacerbate the asthma? I have a great book, I will look back up in it later and find some more natural remedies for you, see if there is possibly anything different that you haven't tried yet.

BYFM, get some elderberry, keep it on hand. With oldest going to school now, he's always bringing something home now. Seems to get over something, only to get it again. Used Sambucus on myself as soon as I realized he was getting it, and didn't last but a day for me, and not very bad either. They've got the sambucus for kids also, you can get him better, then give it as a preventative throughout the cold and flu season. I am thinking you may need to tell the parents of the kids that they may need to reconsider dropping the kids at daycare as long as they are ill. They are just getting other kids sick, and that is rude and irresponsible... OR get permission to treat their snotty heady kids with the same remedies you use on your youngster. A dose of Sambucus would probably do them a good turn as well.

My head ache was not as bad today. I have however been going like crazy! I still have the headache, but didn't need to take anything for it. I only drink a cuppa joe a day, and sometimes take all day to drink that cup, but I did switch to a smaller cup... Oh, that is sacrilegious! I am up to 3 bottles (20oz) a day. I have been refilling them for the day, then throw away. Not good to keep reusing. I also got the flavored water, so, as soon as I drink the first half, I refill it to the top, then to the top again. SO, always still a little flavor. Grape Acai water. Maybe with so much water going in, I might drop a few more pounds.

As for my chickens. Everyone was still out there when I got home. The fox hasn't yet figured out how to go around the fence, or he's just patiently waiting for Carl to let his birds out. Mine hang out in the front and side of my house farthest away from where its burrow looks to possibly be. Again, praying hands! Going to try a bait trap tonight to catch it. Really hate to do it, but both of us think its better off gone vs our investment being gone.

Fortunatly, they are the only kids that I watch and my son.
They are really nice people and I know that they need to work fortheir paycecks as much as I need the money from their kids.
I told them when I first started watching them that if they found someone that could watch the kids at their house I would not be offended. They told me when the last babysitter quit (for a better paying job) the first person they thought of was me. They see how I raise my son and they know their boy and baby will be taken care of.
I do like both of their kids and would do anything for them... 3 kids though... bless the parents that have 2+ kids all the time. I don't envy you!
LOL

I might have to start doing that... grumble grumble...

I have been trying to get BF to take a job as an electricians apprentis... He would have to buy a ton of expensive tools before he could start and he would eventually have to take classes. Me thinks he worries too much about money. We would figure it out.... more grumbles....

I posted in the breeds/show thread and didn't get any replies, so I'm hoping someone here might know. :)

I can't find the APA SOP for Jubilee Orpingtons. There's all kinds of info out there for all the other 'solid' colors, but nothing for Jubilees. Are they not an APA recognized variety of the Orpington breed?

I may have to go with the Speckled Sussex (closest thing I can find to Jubilees) if they're not recognized, because I know the SS is. Figures...the second I find a gorgeous, gigantic, egg-laying and friendly breed they're not even recognized? I hope I'm missing something.
