There is another long time employee competing for the available hours. I'm going to keep looking, cover my basis, but at this point i am giving it until Fri to see what happens. 
Friday isnt very long?I am thinking on it, but thing is if they don't give the raise, which they've been known to lie (lied to me when i worked for them before) they will screw me badly. Once i start paying on my loan, there's no going back. Ditto on my credit card. And, if they cut me to only one day a week (Looks like i'm only getting 2) then i won't even be able to make up for cost to workThere is another long time employee competing for the available hours. I would agree with that but does not hurt to cover the basis just in case during that 90 days ... hope they do keep their word to you though !!!Friday isnt very long?
I would suggest waiting to start payments on your loan AFTER ninety days. Then you know if you have a raise or not. And what your hours will be.

I agree here with Kim - from a managers standpoint. When I was a Quality Manager I heard all the tales from other employees. Some true, some not. In my experience with employees it's the ones that shined that got the raises and the better jobs. The complainers and trouble makers got just what they deserved. I always gave raises and kept the employees that did their job and was willing to go that extra mile for me and didn't go around the shop complaining to other employees what a crap place it was to work.. I always told those people " If you don't like to work here then you are free to go somewhere else and work and do NOT bring your negativism in here and visit it on my employees." And I was a good boss too. I would go that extra mile for my employees also. People always wanted to work for me but in Quality you need certain credentials and schooling LOL.Friday isnt very long?
