If a house is "cash only offers" does that mean that one could offer a land contract??? There's a nice one with acres, but it's a cash only.....? Everything else 30,ooo and under is usually land only, unless you are going ghetto!

What i need, is a home being sold by owner! keep the banks and their insurance and all that out of it!!!

No, that cash only one... you don't want to mess with that one. there is way to much work on it that needs to be done if it is the one I remember. needs a furnace, needs septic redone, needs electrical work... yeah... Cash only means, no loans. A bank won't give a loan on the property.

I think it's a perfect idea, as i get most of my building materials scrounging anyway! whether i do a cute outdoor coop or i have to give up the birds and i have a few house chickens, i will definitely be trying to come up with cute and functional design

Love this coop, Fuzzy. Makes me want to get out an work on mine but it's tooooo cold out - 17degrees this morning. Their water didn't freeze - yay. I wired a ceramic fixture for a 60 watt bulb then set it on a large ceramic tile I had lying around. Then sat a pottery crock upside down and sat the waterer on that. Then put a 2X6 frame around the whole thing so shavings wouldn't get in and the heat wouldn''t get out. Worked great. Now have to do something similar to the outside water.

Ok... Here is the cake. Yes, there is a beak too, but it doesn't show upas well as I had hoped. I ended up resorting to a paint brush to get some definition in. Not the best looking cake I am sure, but hello, I have never made a chicken on a cake before. LOL

That is such a cool cake, Nova. I bet your little guy loved it!

We've had people over to the house for the last three nights. I'm so ready to do nothing. Haven't moved very far from my chair today - LOL!

Hello everyone! Who is not here... Hmmm...

I got the run separated into two pens. Tonight I am moving Florus, Loralie, Beulah, Sheh-Sheh, and Little Pretty to the unused coop and closing them in their pen. It will be at the very least a week before I let any of them out to free range. And in 3 weeks, I should have pure faverolle eggs. I am excited to see what comes of Florus and Sheh-Sheh, since she's pure white and he's salmon. What do you all think? LOL. Anyway, pure salmons on the way!

Wow. Talk about a dead zone. Where is everyone? I know it's not anything to do with enjoying the weather. And if it is, then you are all more loving of all this cold white stuff than I will ever be. It snowed this morning and I had to fight with it all day while trying to keep my mail truck going forward instead of sliding sideways or sledding backwards. There came a point I pledged to stop and kiss the ground if I could just make it off one road in particular. This is the only time of year I hate driving that tuna can on wheels.
