Fuzzy's Farm

For the record, come heck or high-water i'm determined to go to the chickenstock next spring so people can meet me! I don't know how i come off on here but i am actually a very down-to-earth person. I make a point of not taking myself too seriously! :)
Except when it comes to money, i am going to have to be serious about my future job, if i want to get anywhere. Joking too much at work is frowned on it seems.

hi!

Gotta go, but i found this online today
http://www.ehow.com/how-does_4681694_a-chick-hatch.html

So it is true that an eggshell is breathable up to a point, but not at the point of internal pip :( But now i know that i may be able to candle and poke a hole in the egg to give the little buggers more of a chance should this happen again. AND i know my equipment better, so i know where the humidity should be. I also read some people using a fine mist of warm water in the event that they had to open the bator. Still not optimal, but if you HAVE to it may help any stragglers.

That's ok. I was just going to tell you if you don't mind I will take both roo's if you are getting rid of the 2nd one. I always like to have a back up and I am going to get some chicks from Nova next year.
