As long as the tarp is waterproof, it'll keep the rain out. Does on mine. I picked up 10 lengths of shingling. Tomorrow I am going to take the tarp off of mine and get the area I think the problem is for me.

I had fun getting the chicks from their little under-run. OMG! I put the dog house coop up on this homemade metal table frame. This thing is made out of IRON. heavy as hell. Anyway, it only has 1 foot of clearence. I had to lay on my belly in the dirty butt ground, Criptoe and her chicks can sure poop it up! Anyway, I got them out and in their coop with mama.

The idiot CS birds figured it out after night number two that they have a new home. BUT they sure did make a big stink about it. SO, yeah, I don't have to chase no darn serema no more.

BUT THEN! Where the heck is the sick hen? Not in any of the coops and not in the run or under any of the coops in the run. She's on the outside, behind the 4x8. I don't know if she's trying to commit suicide and get it over with or what. Well anyway, I got her, took her up front, and tried some VetRx... Only I think I may have overdosed her because the bottle says its unique design only allows for one drop at a time my rear end! So, I hope I didn't overdose her. I think she got more like 3 drops. She did eat some more worms today, but she was more drowsy. I asked the neighbor if he has anyone acting wonky, since they do mingle on ocassion. Nothing like 60 + chickens in the side yard between our houses. LOL. AND they don't even fight! Oh, thats right, only 2 big roos now between both flocks, so the hens run wild. I can't wait for my fav boys to get their big boy pants on and start herding the girls... LOL, well, at least one. Well anyway. Any one who knows wyandottes will know that even though they are friendly enough to eat out of your hand, they really aren't that big on being caught and held. She must really feel like poop warmed over. I did feel some food in her crop, not enough, but better than nothing. Still no funky breathing, though now she smells like a vicks vapor patch. SO, what does she do when I set her down by the water? She runs under the tiny coop, and I have to get on my darn belly again, and fish her out by a leg. Yes a leg. It was that or her tail. No, I didn't hurt her at all. She's in the 4x8. No one sleeps in there really. Just two up on the roost in the corner and Skatter in the nest box on the other side. No one else seems to be showing any illness, lethargy, poops, wonky... at all.

SO... now I need to wash my hair. I only wash it every other day since I have very weak hair... Now I have to wash it again. Oh. Joy. LOL.
 
Well, I do... I live too far for breakfast... LOL. I'd bring cheese cake if you have the coffee. LOL. When silver does finally make it this way, we should just converge on your house. LOL. AND THEN, you tell Olive to come and I can meet her... She's my idol. HEHEEHEE.
