Fuzzy's Farm

Fuzzy, if you help me with making a coop, your birds can come here, then you can take them back when ever you are ready...
it's going to be years if i have to go get a trailer/ apartment. :( DH wants to look at getting a HUD loan, but even if that's possible i don't see how we would work up a deposit. He's not even trying to save, and i can't do that on my own. Car might take a poop on me, i had it scanned at the parts store and they said it was slipping in fourth. Not what i was expecting, i don't feel it slipping at all? The mis fire was the spark plugs, guy lied and didn't change and the tip was GONE! Ya, never saw that before. So i could climb under and do a filter change on the tranny, and a different auto guy said there were solinoids under the tranny pan? Havta google. Otherwise i have to give up and dump the car, but i kinda like it........ So not getting any less stressfull here. If i can dodge the rain drops i will be doing plugs today.

NO! Don't do a filter change unless you have lucus lube for transmissions.

RaZ posted a link for USDA loans. You might be able to get one for up to 35 grand for the purchase of a home farm. I know there are properties up that away that have those prices... Look into it.

Ok... now back to the car. Drain/suck out a quart of tranny fluid. Put in the quart of lucas for transmissions. Trust me on this one. Being a paper carrier for 15 years has taught me a few things... It'll get you through for quite some time. If you are still smelling gas in your oil, get the lucas for the engine. It'll help protect it. Use a quart EVERY oil change.

About the plugs.. um, yup I have seen that. Had that happen with one of my trackers.

Yay, good girl skatter! :) Sorry i wandered off to have coffee. I like EE bumblebees :D "your" black and white over here did turn out to be a girl, too?

I am pretty sure that the gas is from the plug not firing, it was one of the possibilities listed when i looked into it, so that should be that once i get the plugs changed; I do like lucas too; why not change the filter? If i could find an online pic of what the sensors looked like and it wasn't too hard i could swap the one that is for fourth out? I have changed a filter before (though it was a truck so may have been easier)

Maybe i'll have to do the lucas to get through the winter, though. I heard it's supposed to be ice again later today. :( What a crap shoot of a winter, rain, snow, ice, obsene cold........... Usually i can still get out and do stuff, but this year it's terrible! I will have to get into gear soon and run to the parts store to get the gapper tool, i had two and mysteriously my toolbox was raided :( So more coffe and a hurry-up run up town, hopefully it won't turn into a downpour like yesterday!

Stupid neighbor, likely. He stole/borrowed a bike of ours right into his apartment until he heard we reported it missing, and he was waffling about in the hall after i was out cursing loudly in the rain while DH and I tore the whole back of the truck apart looking for either one of the gapper tools i just saw a week ago! I know the whole place was probably peeking out the window, i was loud and mad because of COURSE i didn't know it was gone until i had walked in the rain at nightfall to hurry and get one in, and of COURSE the part's store had just closed; had to throw it in without gapping and still got soaked! Very P.O'd! I had put them at the top of my box so i wouldn't have to look; i knew something was up because my toolbox was all open and i never leave my tools laying around!

Most of them are now in my car, and i'll get my gas can and jack today before those get lost too.... My sockets and wrenches are mostly a loss because DH got mad at me and left them outside this summer, kinda ticked about that too. Just not a happy girl, lol. Not very feminine to get attached to tools, but i've been collecting them for at least 10 years now! So what they were cheapies, they were mine and many useful hours were spent with my big truck and those tools. I miss my truck, may have to keep my eyes peeled. Then i'd have a backup too. Danged if i do, danged if i don't; i will have maybe 500 cash to work with all in all so i guess it will be whichever comes first; the car or a good deal! I still say i need a roomie, then there will be two of us to help each other out. Has to be another girl in my shoes??? Just hard to find ones that are serious about money and goals, and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty (tomboy)
