:( I am not going to even think about getting chickens right now, things aren't well here. If i have to move i will have to give up all but a hen or two :(
I will smuggle them as indoor chickens, but i couldn't smuggle in the whole coop. :(

If i had someone who knew how to fix big stuff i'd go for that gutted trailer, i don't care if i had to camp out in one livable room and pee in a makeshift outhouse all winter; i'd do it. But i can't do it alone. :(

I'm sure there is someone who could take your chickens for you, isn't there ? If you were closer to me I would take them for you until you get a place.
 
Not really. Nova wanted to help too, but if things go bad i may end up in a cheap trailer park. I could smuggle a few, but .......... without a partner and a hefty deposit i won't get anywhere at all anytime soon with land ownership.

I am trying to look at realistic options, place myself where i have some kind of social support if something happens that needs fixing. Right now i am far from any friends i used to have, far from family.

I don't want to be a thread killer tonight, so i'm gonna not talk about this.

Eh, it aint a thread killer. You might have to look into getting a second pt job or apply for more hours, or see if there is a full time position open in one of the sister homes. Maybe even see if there is an opening in a sister home closer to holland! That way, you can afford a place on your own. It'll be hard, not saying it won't, but if you don't have to have a roomie, that'd be better. You don't have someone to get on your nerves then.
