Fuzzy's Farm

We have had to replace pressure switch and bladder tank for our well before. Got them at TSC a lot cheaper than well guy. Last fall SIL had to replace his submerged pump. Had one on hand he pick up off CL for about hundred bucks couple of years ago. Sometimes he is the never know what is going to happen kind of guy. Pump went out, he made a tripod thing with like a com-along to bring everything up (2 day process) went and got a new point as long as he was doing it all. Water running and saved a lot of money.

Nova Sorry about sting. Did you check the connection where the juice goes into the starter? You don't think all our road salt could have corroded it? Just wondering.
I had a very nice surprise tonight. My grandson stopped by after milking on the farm he works at. Did most of the snowplowing for me instead of me having so much to blow. Now all I have to do is down and around the coop. Even got a spot for dogs and then put up a huge pile for the youngest grandson to play on. Good kid!
Gigi sounds like you should change her name to mischief or shenanigans or something along that line. Better start checking you fences and stuff get the jump on her.. If only you could think like a goat.........um.... what can I get into next?
Robin hows the babies?

Good kid you got there Rusty.

About the triops, we got the eggs at Hobby Lobby in the science section. You can order kits on-line for them. They've got different kinds at different stores too. We've also grown the rocks too. Jace was also trying to talk me into getting ant farms... Um... No.

Holy freaking trouble maker batman! Lol, what a goat! Lol.

I have seen the triops at meijer... I was wondering if they would survive long. I never had good luck with keeping seamonkeys because they have to have the special packet of mystery whatever to go in the water with them. I am interested to see how they do for you!
I am sorry to hear about Sting :(

and the truck...

and the well...

and the trouble maker goat LOL

I have got the temps perfect... or perfect according to 2 different themometers... in my incubator!!! I will set the 3 I got so far and whatever I get tomorrow!!!
Should I leave them in the egg carton (with fat end up) and tip... or should I lay them on their sides???

Nice to see a pop in by TC!

If you have to turn, I'd leave them in a carton, so, you can tip the bator to simulate turning, or mark the eggs so you can remember which way youre turning them... As long as the bator holds temp while you do that.

John brought home an Xbox 360 plus kinnect... Jace was doing Snubs. Lol. Kid loves to dance, but you can tell his mamas white... Lol

LOL

I do have to turn/ tip... I think the temps will hold fine. I read they can take a slight decrease in temp but don't tolerate temp spikes very well.
I figure if I leave them in the carton... I won't have to worry about touching them everytime and getting oils on them from my hands.

I was thinking to myself and giggling... but who would like a reborn chicken? lol I could be the first artist to reborn an uggo!!!

Jeep; coil??? Is it old enough to have a cap and rotor for the spark plug wires? (I had a sheyster who drew a pencil line inside my rotor cap and "killed" my car so i'd let him have it to scrap. Then sold it to the next guy who buffed off the pencil and drove away) Grrr. Live and learn. Fuel pump? Is it while idling or is it when you throw it into gear?

You really need another car :( I hope the old jeep holds together for your first couple checks on the new job

I have a gal at work who seems interested in adopting my flock. Not really sure about her though, she said today that she told her "farmer friends" that the birds weren't for eating. Makes me nervous, a lot of the farmers around here view chickens as strictly livestock. Not sentimental in the least. She's only got 2 hens and bought chicks.......... so just beginning........??? Also said the farmer? whoever that may be said "they'd take" the camper if i wanted...... True it's falling apart but the frame itself is worth a decent bit...... and if one could repair the roof i already have the material for the inside walls....... Hmm my spidey senses are tingling, since she said the birds were for her but now talking about other people i don't know......

Nova, sure you don't want a coop pre furnished with birds??? LOL If i didn't have not one but 2!!! roosters that need to go.........
Anyone know ANYONE who would want this cutie along with his year-old hen and a few pullets????

I don't know... but, I didn't think about cap and coil I will have to check. It isn't the starter, alternator, or battery. It's not a fuel problem. It happens when I go to start the jeep. Will start turning over then cut off like i changed my mind... It seeems to happen more when it is wet out, rainy, snowy... Or if I just run short distances and turn the car off. But if I have it running for like an hour, no problem... SO, thinking moisture, or a short in the ignition... BUT cap and rotor could very well be..

I just did a search on that, and found several several EHOW questions with the same problems, and that seemed to be the general answer, rotor cap may have a crack in it, so moisture is getting in, OR cracks in the relay wires for the ignition. I am going to try cap first. Only 23 bucks. John said he had it done about 2 years ago.
