What got ruined at the PO? Peoples mail? or extra PO goodies?

A lot of old files, p.o. stuff, and all sorts of other stuff. They had just ordered in a big supply of bath tissue and paper towels, but they were stacked on the floor so it's all a loss. They had a lot of stuff stacked on the floor instead of up on tables or in cabinets and it's all ruined. We don't keep anyone's mail down there. We have a dock the mail comes through that sits high up off the ground on the main floor level. Even with what flooding they're expecting, the water won't get high enough to ruin anyone's mail.

I am sure there will be a lot of stuff ruined in a lot of peoples homes from all this water!!!
I guess we are getting what we missed over the summer...

You guys have had a mess - first snow and now floods. Things need to settle down for you all or you'll be needing house boats for the chickens.

One of the 7 wk Jersey Giants was left outside in the babies run last night. DH put everyone up since I had to go to school but is so black that I think he just missed seeing that she wasn't in. At least I know that the babies run is secure as she was fine but just really wanting back inside with her friends.

gigi we need houseboats with skies. woke up to almost an inch of snow this morning. Geesh, one day it is 74 next snow only here! Sure wish Ma Nature would make up her mind!
So proud of myself went to that swap meet thing this morning with Robin. Met several other BYCer's It was held at Family Farm and home and I didn't come home with anything breathing (except Robin).
I figured didn't need to as chicks hatching today.

I can't believe you got SNOW!!!

Good for you on being strong - lol! We went to Tractor Supply today and they had guineas. I don't know why but I've always wanted some. But I didn't stop!!!
