LOL! Well, obviously, you can do as you wish. But if you plan to shop it around, posting it here is a very bad idea. And putting "copyright" at the bottom does not change that.

There are very few things I know anything about, but this is one of them.

Sheesh, I was under the understanding the you retain the copyrights to your pictures and post... Dagnabit. I wanted opinions on article and who better to ask than ya'll... Ok... I am going to take your word on it.

BYC assumes the right to use anything you post. Even if they didn't the second you hit publish you've put it out into the world and have forfeited a good portion of the rights you could otherwise sell. Once it's already out there you can no longer sell any first rights, no exclusive rights, etc, etc. If you change your mind and publish it here or elsewhere make sure you divulge that information to any outlet you pitch. If they purchase rights and then find out later you published it previously without their knowledge it's your behind.

Anything you publish will have to be completely rewritten if you want to shop it for first or exclusive rights. And even then, to be truly ethical, it would be wise to divulge to any publishers you intend to work with.

Honestly, Nova, if what you're looking for is feedback I would not depend on this board.
