The last one I was at, they did a similar game to the baby one, but they gave us necklaces to wear. There a a taboo word (like baby or pregnant-can't remember!) and if you said it whoever caught you got your necklace. The person with the most necklaces at the end won.
There was also a tray of baby items that they showed each table for a few seconds. After they took the tray away, you had to write down as many of the items you remembered. Whoever got the most won and new mom got to keep all the items on the tray.
And my daughter won this one. Take string and go around to everyone and tell them to cut the string to what they thought the size of mom's waistline is. Then take turns trying your string around mom's tummy. Whoever is closest to size wins.

I really like the tray idea!
I am not sure if I will do the ribbon because she is easily embarrased. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I am going to make the a bow to wear on her belly that says "Do Not Open Until Jan"

What other baby showers do you like to play?

None. No one likes to play baby shower games. They just do it because it's customary and they're afraid of setting off Mom-zilla, with her 500 lb belly.

I strongly believe it's rude to torture guests who come bearing gifts. LOL! You want to make people happy? Serve mimosas and have a local teen keep any and all children in attendance busy in another room so the women can mingle and share nauseating labor and delivery stories in peace.

I am not sure we can serve alcohol at this location (the mom is reserving) Otherwise I would!!!
I hate the 2 hours of unwrapping gifts... ULGGG! That is the worst!
We give out prizes so no one leaves empty handed! And food... so no empty bellies!
You should have to play my silly games! LOL

I think I will do a timed one where you have to match up babies to their mamas
Like:

Goat- Kid
Goose- Gosling

lol I took the easy way out.
I bought a carrot cake. And I made puppy chow- which everyone gobbled up. I thought I would bring a mess of it home, but nope.

My babies started pipping at 11:30 last night, so the first one was almost 10 hours ago. I see a little part of shell gone, but i don't know if she was able to pierce the membrane.............So far 6 have started pipping, spread out over the night. Buuuuut the bator has gotten really quiet, even when i tap and call ???! Before i had some very loud talkers in there.

Definitely freaking out..........i have been good and haven't opened it, but should i help the first few? Cocoa's egg was first and it's the primary worry i have.

sitting on my hands, praying all is well and the quiet is due to them being so active last night. Thank you Nova, you called just as i sat the tweezers down, literally! lol. Now i know they aren't shrinked.............

just hope my little big butt isn't stuck! I haven't seen her, but she was talking up a storm to me last night, i think i may have another cookie! She was the only one to talk last time. Actually listens for my voice, she'd peep, i'd squeak, she'd peep.............lol. She's not peeping now, i really hope she's just resting.........
